Now that Father’s Day is only a week away, we thought it would be the perfect time to take a look back at our annual Father’s Day Power Pitching Event. Taking place at the beginning of May, our 8 brands showcased their best gift offerings to our wonderful journalists, who were planning their gift guides ahead of the big day on June 19th!
We were joined by 26 of our fabulous media friends, including Deputy Digital Editor from Good Housekeeping, E-Commerce & Reviews Editor from BBC Good Food, Shopping Editor from heat & Closer, Shopping Writer from the Evening Standard and Senior Shopping Writer from BuzzFeed.

As noted by Goodto.com, our additional service PressFix is an incredibly useful tool for journalists. PressFix is our digital image library, where PRs can upload all their product images, press releases and contact details onto their own branded page, so that journalists can then easily download these assets. This saves them a lot of time, as everything they need from PRs is in one place.
PRs also use PressFix to get organised for the busiest times in the retail calendar and it further supports their outreach, by sending them a notification when an image or press release has been downloaded from their brand page, prompting them to follow up on leads.
PressFix is especially useful for a Power Pitching event, as brands can upload all the relevant assets for their pitch in advance, so they are then available for media to download straightaway following the event, whilst the particular brand is fresh in their mind. It really is a win-win for everyone!
