Toy brands and retailers at The Big Christmas Press Show 2024

The Big Christmas Press Show 2024 was a huge success, attended by over 700 media who met with the 62 brands and retailers showcasing their latest releases ahead of this year's Christmas season. 


In attendance were a variety of toy brands and retailers including; 

Smyths Toys, LEGO, Tonies, TOMY, Playtime PR, MGA Entertainment, KAP Toys, Asmodee, Character Options, Golden Bear, John Adams Leisure, Ravensburger, Target Darts, Maison Battat, Epoch, Jumbo Games and more.


Media Titles

The Big Christmas Press Show was also attended by media from all areas such as; ITV, BBC, Toy World Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Daily Mail, Country Living, NetMums, Toys ‘n’ Playthings, Cosmopolitan, Made for Mums, Woman & Home, The Independent, Good to Know, Prima, Mother & Baby and hundreds more. 


Coverage

The coverage received has been rolling in and continues to grow as the build-up to the big day draws closer. 


ITV Regions broadcast their time spent down at The Big Christmas Press Show including an interview from Golden Bear and clips from John Adams Leisure, KAP Toys and Moose Toys.


Good Housekeeping released an article “The must-have toys for children this Christmas, according to the experts” after attending the show and speaking to both the Head Buyer at Hamleys, Victoria Kay and CIJ Group Founder, Courtney Rogers. Among the featured were LEGO, MGA Entertainment, Playtime PR, Ravenburger and Moose Toys. 

The Mirror included clients; LEGO, Wilton Bradley, Yoto, Target Darts, NSPCC and more rounding up the winners of this year’s The Big Christmas Wishlist Awards titled ‘Top 12 gifts to buy for Christmas 2024’. 


Toy World Magazine has since published numerous articles promoting the benefits of The Big Christmas Press Show, including testimonials from brands such as Character Options, TOMY, Wilton Bradley, MGA Entertainment, and more. 

This was not all, a variety of coverage was also secured in both print and online in MSN, Licensing Source, Woman Talking, Toys ‘n’ Playthings and more! 


The Big Christmas Wishlist Awards

The Big Christmas Wishlist Awards, exclusive to The Big Christmas Press Show, shortlist the top products ahead of Christmas. These span 12 categories and are judged by 8 industry experts and celebrity judges including, Ollie Locke, Kate Hardcastle and Rosie Nixon. 


The Big Christmas Wishlist Award winners and esteemed judge's picks are unveiled at the show during an awards ceremony and then sold to the press. Toy brands and retailers; LEGO, Wilton Bradley, Crystal Art Buddies, MGA Entertainment, Yoto, Target Darts, Weird Games, John Adams Lesuire, Jumbo Games and Asmodee were amongst these top winners which have received coverage in many national publications.
