We pride ourselves on creating events that meet the needs of both PRs and journalists. We listen to feedback to ensure that we’re improving each year, so we’re delighted to share some exciting changes coming up in 2023:
One Day Show - Wednesday 13th September 2023
We’re streamlining the event from a two day to a one day show, with longer opening hours to allow journalists to attend before and after work. We will be delivering exactly the same value, including the same quantity and caliber of top tier journalists. In doing so we are streamlining the efficiency for all involved, further reducing costs for participation, saving valued PR time and resources with less time onsite.
September is to stay
This is now the second year we have successfully held the showcase in September (previously held in July) to reflect the changes in media lead time and emphasis on digital gift guides for measurable PR results. This is at a more relevant time of year for the majority of journalists and supports their objectives of maximising affiliate revenue. For brands & retailers targeting the long lead media, we have our popular virtual long lead Power Pitching event taking place in July.
Influencer application process
Our unrivalled journalist connections are something we want to continue to develop and focus on. So for 2023 we are introducing an influencer application process, meaning only a select number of invite only, high quality influencers will be in attendance. We’ve listened to feedback that influencers can be communicated with throughout the year and that journalists are harder to communicate and get face time with, so you can rest assured that we’re putting all of our efforts into what matters to you most.
